Greetings from Tucson, Arizona! This is Frank Karnauskas welcoming you to my modest internet home. Over the years I have held the call signs WN9ERH, WA9ERH, WN0NGX, WB0NGX, NF0K and finally N1UW.
I have been a proud member of the ARRL for nearly as long as I have been licensed…61 years now. I have also been a long-time member of AMSAT, the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation, and now serve as its Vice President – Development. I am committed to using the intrigue and mystery of Amateur Radio in space as a tool to bring more youth into the world of Amateur Satellites and Amateur Radio.
Besides Amateur Satellites, I especially enjoy Parks-on-the-AIr (POTA) activations as a way to get back to nature and enjoy the S-0 noise levels in the desert. If you work me during a POTA activation, I usually have the log uploaded to the POTA site within 24 hours. I usually have the LoTW logs uploaded by the end of the week. If you are looking for a paper QSL (the center image at the top of the page, please include a SASE with your QSL.
